Senate General Assembly Meetings
Every other Thursday at 7:00 PM, Senate holds its General Assembly Meetings in the Glenn Maloney Room of the Student Services Building (SSB). The General Assembly Meeting is an opportunity for all members of Senate to gather in order to discuss and vote on important Senate issues, report on the progress of Senate committees and programs, and communicate any developments of issues that may affect the quality of academic life at the University. All members of the University of Texas at Austin community are invited to attend Senate General Assembly meetings.
Getting on the Agenda
To make an announcement, speakers must email the Administrative Director 48 hours before the General Assembly Meeting. You may e-mail Tarah Goulding attarah.goulding@mail.utexas.com. Speakers will be limited to no more than 5 minutes as per the Senate bylaws.
