In 2004 the University community, guided by the Senate of College Councils and University administrators, established the Honor Code and Core Values. This set of principles is a verbal expression of what it means to live your life as a student, professor, employee or alumnus  of the University of Texas at Austin. The values expressed therein serve to reinforce the culture of integrity that is demonstrated every day at the University of Texas.
